Frame It


Hello from Sunny and Warm Sydney on this fabulous Australia Day.

It’s seems a little funny that I am sharing with you a Christmas card on this Summer Day but we have a fun new challenge at Holly Jolly.

Our theme is Frame It

Our Sponsors are: Stitchy Bear, The Stamping Boutique and Sami Stamps

I have used a Stitchy Bear image called Elf Secret and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The layout of my card is fairly simple and I have layered the image on some SU Real Red cardstock and framed it using a punch.

Round Things


Hi – hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Just a quick post to share with you the details of our new challenge at Come and Get It for this week.

Our theme: Round Things

Our Sponsor: Ppinky Dolls

I have used a Ppinky Doll image called ‘'Butterfly Girl” and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

I have used lots of circle dies on my card and there are also some circles on the paper, plus I have used lots of Round Rhinestones.

Here is my card:




The colours for my card were inspired by the papers used. 
 The papers were from my stash and are from Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Collection “Herbal Infusion”, Fabscraps “Wild Tunes 2” and Authentique “Faith”.

The cardstock used is SU Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Xpress It Blending Cardstock.

The dies used were from SU Circles collection, Spellbinders Nestabilities Lacey Circles Collection and Spellbinder Die D-Lites Flourish Trim.

Paper Piecing

Hello, hope that you are having a wonderful day!

We have a new challenge at Crafty Creations Challenge beginning today and we would love you join us.

Our theme is Paper Piecing

Our sponsor is Beccy’s Place and I have used an image called Dance Lessons.

I have paper pieced the skirt on the elephant and mouse and the headband on the elephant.  The paper used is the same paper as the background paper.  This paper is from Fabscraps USA and is called Lime C58 006.

The dies used are from SU Ovals collection and Spellbinders Nestabilities Fleur de Elegance.  The flowers are from my stash.

The sentiment is from the Kaisercraft Blue Bay stamp sent and reads
 “so many of my smiles begin with you”

The cardstock used is SU Sahara Sand, Pink Pirouette and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

Zero at ABC


Just a quick post to tell you about our new challenge over at ABC Challenges where we have a fabulous new challenge and Lacy Sunshine as our Sponsor.

The theme will challenge you but a challenge is a good thing right! 

Z is for Zero
so no embellishments

I have used an image called Reggie's Swing and I have coloured the image in with Copic.

As I could not use any embellishments I have used a fabulous piece of paper from We R Memory Keepers.

The image was cut out using a die from SU Circles collection and a die from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Lacey Circles collection.

 I wanted to have it look like the image was hanging from the dip in the paper. 

The Sentiment is from the SU Sale-A-Bration stamp set Botanicals for You.  I think my nephew will love this card for his birthday.

Use DSP

Good afternoon, hope you are having a wonderful day.

We have a new challenge at Holly Jolly and a fabulous new theme: 

Use Designer Series Paper

We have two fabulous sponsors Bugaboo and Sentimental Susan.

I have used a sweet image called Snow Friends from Bugaboo for my card and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The DSP that I have used is by Fancy Pants Design and this has inspired the colours I have used to colour the image.

The base cardstock is SU Chocolate Chip and cardstock behind the image is SU Crumb Cake.

Here is my card:


I love the retired SU Frosted Sequins Embellishments, I will be said when they are are all gone.  But for now I have added some to this card.  In the middle of the sequins and snowflakes I have added pearls.

There is also some sparkle on the hat added with Dazzling Diamonds and Crystal Effects.

Baby, It's Cold Outside


Hi just wanting to sharing with you the details of our new challenge at Come and Get It and the theme for our challenge is completely the opposite from here in Sydney.

Our theme is Baby, It’s Cold Outside.

Our sponsor is Lacy Sunshine and I have used an image from our sponsor called Rory’s Christmas Cheer.

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers and the paper is by Bo Bunny called Silver and Gold and Dots Item #15101942.

The cardstock used is SU Baked Brown Sugar, Ridinghood Red, Whisper White and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

The image was die cut out using the a die from the SU Circles collection and the sentiment is from the SU stamp set Versatile Christmas.

One for the Girls

Hi everyone,

Over at Southern Girls Design we have a fun new challenge and we would love you join us.

I have used lots of sparkle on the paper which is by Hobby Fun Co. Ltd SP529 and some Dazzling Diamonds on the wings.

I have decided to make this a Miss You card as I think she is a little Grumpy because she is missing her friend and so the sentiment reads “ Miss you so Much”.
